Project Manager Position

Location: Centurion, On-Site, 5 days a week

Duration: 24 months

Job Summary: We are looking for an Intermediate Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience managing IT projects preferably in the mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of IT initiatives and projects. This role requires a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects across the business, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to define project objectives and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and deliverables to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the IT sector, preferably focused on mining or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar tools).
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, data integration, and digital transformation projects specific to mining.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project demands.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
